In the sky, there were many twinkling stars. But one little star, named Twinkle, was very sad. She couldn’t shine as brightly as the other stars.

“I try and try,” Twinkle said to the moon, “but I just can’t seem to sparkle like the others.”

The moon smiled kindly at her. “Sometimes, you don’t need to shine brightly all the time, Twinkle. Just shine in your own way.”

That night, Twinkle closed her eyes and thought about all the things she loved. She thought of the warm hugs from her mom, the laughter of her friends, and the gentle breeze. Slowly, Twinkle began to shine with a soft, golden glow. It was different, but beautiful in its own way.

From that night on, Twinkle realized she didn’t have to shine like the other stars. She could shine her own way, and that made her special.
