Dhaval Wants Too Many Toys

This is the story of Dhaval. Dhaval was three years old, and he loved to jump, run around, and play with toys. He already had many toys at home, like a teddy bear and lots of cars and trains.

One day, Dhaval went to the mall with his mother for shopping. His mother bought biscuits, vegetables, and fruits. When she finished shopping, she looked around for Dhaval and found him busy playing in the toy section.

“Dhaval, let’s go,” said Mama.

“Mama, look here! What a lovely train! I want to take it home!” Dhaval said excitedly.

Mama smiled and said, “But, Dhaval, you already have a big engine at home.”

Dhaval stayed quiet, then looked at the toys again. He picked up a teddy bear and said, “Mama, I want this teddy, please!”

Mama smiled and said, “But, Dhaval, you already have a teddy at home, along with so many toys! We can’t buy new toys every day. Come along now.”

Dhaval felt sad and was about to cry. He really wanted a new toy. Mama noticed this and gently said, “Dhaval, my sweetie, I know you’re feeling sad. But here’s an idea! How about we have a toy party? We can invite all your friends to bring their toys to our house!”

The next day, Dhaval’s friends came over with their toys. Rishabh brought his teddy bear, Rayan brought his airplane, and Pari brought her guitar. Dhaval was surprised and excited to see all the different toys his friends had brought.

They all played together, sharing their toys and having so much fun with the airplane, the train, the guitar, and the teddy bear. After lots of playing and laughter, it was time for everyone to go home.

Dhaval was very happy and said, “Can we have another toy party like this again?”

His friends replied, “Yes, we’d love that!”

After the party, Mama asked Dhaval to help tidy up. Dhaval helped Mama put all the toys in the basket and clean the room. That day, Dhaval felt very, very happy. He learned he didn’t need a new toy every time – playing with friends was even more fun!
